How much do I get paid and when I do get paid? Reward amounts range depending on the test type—your test feed will always show you the amount you'll get paid for each test. Payments for completed tests are usually sent 14 days later.

If your practice test is approved, you’ll start receiving emails notifications about earning opportunities. New surveys and recorded tests are posted daily.

Please use a device that meets our following minimum requirements:

• Operating system: Windows 7, 8 or 10.
• Memory: At least 1 GB of total RAM and 600MB of available RAM.
• Free disk space: At least 7 GB of free disk space.

• Upload speed of at least 3.0 Mbps

• Operating system: OS X 10.7 or higher
• Memory: At least 1 GB of total RAM and 600MB of available RAM.

Note: We do not recommend using Xiaomi devices with the UserTesting App for Android, as we have seen issues with these devices.

Do I need a microphone to become a contributor? Yes, you’ll need a microphone to take your practice test. The microphone built into your phone or computer is good enough to use during recorded tests, but using an external microphone is also okay. What matters most is that customers can hear your feedback loudly and clearly. For more help, review our audio tips!

2. If you apply from a mobile device, you’ll need to download our UserTesting App from the App Store or Google Play.

Yes.

UserTesting does not withhold any taxes from payments. Contributors are responsible for determining any tax liabilities incurred from payments received by UserTesting.
